Study Programs
Our Learning Programs:
I. Academic Program
KLCF divides our program into two types of classes:
1. Speaking class: designed for students who wish to learn speaking Khmer in a short period of time without using Khmer scripts. In this class: we're focus on different grammar, structure from writing lesson. Learn to differentiate between vocabulary using in written and speaking in reality and learn to pronounce Khmer words into slag.
2. Writing class: designed for students who wish to be able to read Khmer letters in order to understand deeper into Khmer
Language and culture.
The program consist of 4 levels in total:
- Level 1( Elementary Proficiency): In this level students learn the general basic lesson such as communication skill, reading and writing Khmer Letters.
- Level 2(Limited Working Proficiency): After completed the general basic lesson, students will start learning basic Working Proficiency skill with all main important topics such as Politic, Economic, Health and Science, Military, Environment etc.
- Level 3( General Advanced Proficiency): Continued from level 2, student will up grade their level by learn deeper to the main important topics. In addition, in this level we start training our student into the real documents such as Khmer hot news, Khmer facebook news , Khmer magazines etc.
- Level 4(Advanced Professional Proficiency): As a final level student might need to practice more on which topics related to their working. So, they can be fluent in their work by one year of training.
Note: the period of each level usually is 2 month and half, so the whole program will take about one year.
II. Cultural Seminars (Presentation of Cambodian Culture)
This is a special program designed for students who wish to understand and discover about the interesting and accurate Khmer culture in short time, enable the student to easily prepare themselves while living in Cambodia. The topics include Khmer wedding, Khmer festivals, Khmer New Year, Khmer Funeral, etc. The presentation takes 45-50mins for long topic and 25-30mins for short topic.
III. Field Trip and Cooking or Tasting Khmer Popular Foods Program
Field Trip: Cultural and Popular places around Cambodia will be organized in the field trip program for students to visit with high quality of service. If you have any plan or idea, we can discuss to adapt to your demand as well. The fee for this program is changing according to distance and number of participants.
Cooking or Tasting Khmer Popular Foods: Khmer Top 10 foods recommend by our high experienced Khmer Language Instructor Prof. Molika Pen will be selected for this special program.
IV. Study program for volunteers: we're offer to design special package for the group training program.
V. Survival Course: This course is designed for just for few weeks of training only.
