OUR DIRECTOR

Greetings:
I am Molika Pen, director of KLCF - Khmer Language Classes for Foreigners and a Khmer language and culture instructor since 2000. I have been teaching students and expatriates, such as, missionaries, volunteers, NGO employees, and, especially, staff at the U.S Embassy, USAID , CDC , Namru 2 etc., for over nine years working as a contractor with the Embassy. As such, I have a clear understanding of U.S embassy policies and aid priorities.
As a Khmer language teacher at all levels, including advanced level, it is necessary for me to have a strong general knowledge of cultural issues, mainly in politics, history, economics, health, crime, environment, and agriculture within both a Cambodian and international context.
In addition to language training while working at the US Embassy, I helped students pass the standard test for the US government department at a high level for all skills. I also managed the design and implementation of a Cambodian language and culture program, which involved designing cultural topics for presentation at monthly full-staff meetings, field trips, daily and weekly lesson plans, and the class materials needed to ensure that the course objectives were achieved.
I would most especially like to say thank you to all the students and people who support our school.
Sincerely,
Molika Pen
Director & Instructor
